Hey, I’m Rachel.
What makes me unique as a writer?
Versatility & Agility
I’m equally as comfortable with a 400-page manuscript as I am with 250 characters of ad copy. I can zoom out to see the big picture or zoom in to find the one sentence that needs to change.
I Care Deeply
I bring curiosity, presence, and care to every project. I listen closely, take the time to understand a client’s voice, and believe the quality of the work starts with how deeply I engage with it.
Responsiveness
People tell me all the time that they’re amazed at how open to feedback I am. I trust that the best work comes from revision, and I’m open to hearing ideas and input from others.
Email & SEO Strategy for a Wellness Business
THE PROJECT
A float center in California needed to grow their membership base and build recurring revenue.
CONVERSION COPYWRITING
I developed targeted email marketing campaigns and SEO-driven blog content designed to attract new members and nurture existing ones. I also met monthly with the CEO to strategize and ideate, acting as her trusted thought partner.
THE RESULT
The campaigns attracted 300+ new members in six months, generating $18–20K in recurring monthly revenue and contributing to over $108K in new business growth.
What the CEO said about our work together…
“Rachel, you are the absolute best! Having your help writing emails and blog posts was amazing. All that you do to help my biz with your magical writing skills is literally priceless. Thank you for all that you do! I am so grateful.”
-Hailey Oliver, owner of Capitol Floats
Senior Copywriter on an In-House Creative Team
THE ROLE
I was a Senior Copywriter on an in-house creative team for Donna Bella Hair, a $20M+ beauty and hair-extension brand that sells to both professional stylists (B2B) and retail consumers (B2C). I helped shape and elevate the brand voice and worked with the creative team on omnichannel campaigns for evergreen products, new product launches, Black Friday campaigns, and brand collaborations.
WHAT I DID
I turned marketing strategy into campaigns and stories across the customer journey—from email and web to social, paid ads, print packaging, and video. I worked cross-functionally with lifecycle marketing, designers, photographers, videographers, and brand leadership to develop concepts, shape messaging, and bring campaigns to life while maintaining a distinctly fearless, confident, and direct brand voice. Favorite campaigns included a product launch for gray hair extensions and a campaign targeting those with postpartum hair loss where I interviewed women about their hair journeys.
BADASS RESULTS
My copywriting efforts had a direct impact on the bottom line, with results like:
I helped drive $5–7M in annual email revenue through strategic lifecycle campaigns, compelling storytelling, and A/B-tested copy.
An email on hair trends had a 71.8% open rate with $10k+ revenue in a single day.
Email delivery rates in the 97-99% range. Healthy list growth and an unsubscribe rate of 0.2%.
SMS messages generating $791k.
I helped maintain and evolve a consistent brand voice across multiple channels and customer touchpoints, balancing creative storytelling with commercial goals.

Ghostwriting: Thought Leadership Book by a Former NFL Player
THE PROJECT
A former NFL player hired me to turn his life lessons into a book about overcoming adversity, breaking through fear, and refusing to settle for an average life.
WHAT I DID
I worked closely with the author for a year, conducting interviews and spending time at his gym to capture his voice and develop his powerful stories into a practical coaching guide.
THE RESULT
The book received strong reader reviews and inspired change within his community. Here are a few highlights from its 5-star Amazon reviews:
“A powerful message” that “needs to be heard.”
“Everyone will take away a pearl of wisdom from this book.”
“This book takes you into the life of the author while making you think about yourself.”
What the author said about his experience…
“Thank you for writing my book. I couldn’t have done this project without you.”
-Vince M., author and former NFL player
